William Willoughby, PhD, PE
Dr. Bill Willoughby serves as a Director and Chief Executive Officer of Cypress Development Corp. Dr. Willoughby is a mining engineer with 38 years of experience in all aspects of natural resources development. Since 2014, he has been principal and owner of consulting firm Willoughby & Associates, PLLC. Prior to that, he was President and COO of International Enexco Ltd., which was acquired by Denison Mines in 2014. He previously held various positions with Teck (Cominco). Dr. Willoughby has been a Professional Engineer since 1985 and received his Doctorate in Mining Engineering & Metallurgy from the University of Idaho in 1989.
Donald C. Huston
Don Huston serves as Chairman of the Board and President of Cypress Development Corp. Mr. Huston has been associated with the mineral exploration industry for over 30 years and has extensive experience as a financier and in-field manager of numerous mineral exploration projects in North America. He was born and raised in Red Lake, Ontario and spent 15 years as a geophysical contractor with C.D. Huston & Sons Ltd. as mineral exploration consultants in northern Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Mr. Huston serves as a director of four Canadian public resource companies.
James G. Pettit
Jim Pettit serves as a Director and acting Chief Financial Officer of Cypress Development Corp. Mr. Pettit is currently serving on the board of directors of five publicly traded companies and offers over 25 years of experience within the industry specializing in finance, corporate governance, executive management and compliance. Jim was previously Chairman and C.E.O. of Bayfield Ventures Corp. which was bought by New Gold Inc. in January 2015.
Donald G. Myers
Director, Corporate Communications
Don Myers serves as a non-executive Director and audit committee member of Cypress Development Corp. Mr. Myers serves on the board of directors and manages the investor relations and corporate communications of publicly traded mineral exploration and development companies. He has 30 plus years of experience in public company management and investor relations having helped raise over $350 million in venture capital for resource and technology companies listed on the TSX Venture, NASDAQ and Toronto Stock Exchanges.
Amanda Chow, CPA, CMA
Amanda Chow serves as an independent Director and audit committee member of Cypress Development Corp. Ms. Chow is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) and a graduate of Simon Fraser University where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She began working with public companies in 1999.
Don Mosher serves as Corporate Development for Cypress Development Corp. Mr. Mosher has worked in the capital markets for 30 years, specializing in Venture Companies. He started his career as a financial adviser at Union Securities in Vancouver where he was introduced to the public markets, trading stocks listed on the Vancouver Stock Exchange. In 1998, Mr. Mosher went to work for a company called Napier Environmental Technologies, remaining with the company until 2004.
In 2004, Mr. Mosher started a business called B & D Capital Partners. The business funded Venture Companies in all sectors of business including mining, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, etc. Mr. Mosher previously held the position of CEO and President of Rodinia Minerals which was focused on exploring for lithium in Clayton Valley, Nevada.
Simon Dyakowski, CFA, MBA
Simon Dyakowski serves as Strategic Advisor for Cypress Development Corp. Mr. Dyakowski has over ten years of corporate finance, corporate development and capital markets advisory experience. He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of British Columbia, is a CFA charterholder and holds an undergraduate Finance degree from the University of Western Ontario. He advises venture stage and growth-oriented public market issuers on deal structuring, capital markets, and corporate development strategies. His professional experience is in equity research and equity sales coverage with previous positions held at Salman Partners and Leede Financial.
Daniel W. Kalmbach, CPG
Consulting Geologist, Qualified Person
Daniel Kalmbach serves as a consulting geologist for Cypress Development Corp. and is a Qualified Person. Mr. Kalmbach is a professional geologist with 19 years of experience in natural resources exploration, development, production and environmental compliance in underground and surface locales. Mr. Kalmbach began his career at Barrick Gold Corp. in production geology and later was Senior Geologist of International Enexco Ltd., until acquired by Denison Mines in 2014. He currently is an associate with Willoughby & Associates, PLLC. Mr. Kalmbach has familiarity with gold, silver, copper, zinc, lead, uranium, lithium, zeolite and phosphate mineralization. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Idaho, and is a Certified Professional Geologist with AIPG.
Corby G. Anderson, PhD, CEng, FIMMM, FIChemE
Technical Advisory Board
Dr. Corby Anderson is a registered engineer with nearly 40 years of global experience in industrial operations, corporate level management, consulting, engineering design, research and education and is an expert in the fields of extractive metallurgy, mineral processing, waste minimization and recycling. He holds degrees of BSc in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University, MSc in Metallurgical Engineering from Montana Tech, and PhD in Mining Engineering and Metallurgy from the University of Idaho. His career achievements include development of the Center for Advanced Mineral and Metallurgical Processing at Montana Tech. He has previous experience as a CEO, Director and Technical Advisor for public and private companies. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, and a Distinguished Member of the University of Idaho Academy of Engineering. He holds numerous patents and patent applications covering innovative extractive technologies, and he has been recognized for his work in academia and industry including SME’s Milton E. Wadsworth Extractive Metallurgy Award, the International Precious Metals Institute’s Tanaka Distinguished Achievement Award, SME’s Distinguished Member Award the Outstanding Faculty Award from the George S. Ansell Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Colorado School of Mines, and the EPD Distinguished Lecturer Award from the Minerals, Metals and Materials Society. Dr. Anderson currently serves as the Harrison Western Professor in the Kroll Institute for Extractive Metallurgy as part of the Mining and George S. Ansell Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines.
